Wicklow Town beaten again

WICKLOW TOWN is suffering their very own nightmare before Christmas. The Finlay Park side suffered another defeat at the weekend and relinquished their grip on top spot as a consequence.

They faced St. Fergal's at home and Justin Melia's strike secured a 0-1 success for the Bray side. So it has been left up to St. Patrick's to take up the mantle of league leaders and they did so courtesy of a 0-2 win over Wicklow Rovers in the Whitegates. Marty Kenny and Adam Tuke hit the back of the net for the Saints.
