Pat Devlin's charges can't afford a slow start to the season though as their second outing sees them visit reigning champions Sligo Rovers in the Showgrounds on St. Patrick's weekend.

Wanderers fans will get a first glimpse of Premier Division newbies Limerick FC when they visit the Carlisle on Friday, April 19. While Bray fans may be looking forward to that, one thing that perhaps they won't be too keen on is the prospect of visiting FAI Cup champions Derry City at the Brandywell on Easter Monday (April 1).

The Seasiders will complete their first series of games at home to Dundalk on Friday, May 3. This season the mid-season break falls between Monday, June 17 and Wednesday, June 16.

Casting our eyes towards the latter part of the year, some dates that Seagulls fans will be hoping to keep clear are Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, November 3; the dates of the EA Sports Cup final and FAI Ford Cup final respectively. On the other hand, everyone at the Carlisle Grounds will be hoping to have no involvement whatsoever on Friday, November 2, when the second leg of the promotion/relegation play-off is scheduled to be played.
