O'Neill offers sincere gratitude as Premier Division licence is granted
Bray Wanderers has once again been awarded a Premier Division licence by the FAI Club Licensing Committee.
Trojan work has gone on behind the scenes at the Carlisle Grounds to ensure that Seagulls fans will have a League of Ireland Premier Division club to follow once again in 2013. General manager Jack O'Neill, who puts in behemoth work for the club, gave his reaction to the news during the week.
'We are delighted with the news and great credit is due to the people who have worked tirelessly over the last few months', he stated.
'We would like to thank our supporters clubs and all the support services and the many volunteers who assist the club on a day-to-day basis.
In particular, the support we receive from Bray Town Council, Bray Chamber of Commerce and our sponsors and businesses that continue to support the club. This is not just good news for Bray Wanderers but also the town of Bray and is something that we should be justifiably proud of.
'We would now appeal to people to get behind our 200 Club and our various fundraising initiatives including our season ticket campaign to ensure that the club can continue to represent Bray with distinction.
Our 2013 season tickets are now on sale and represent the best value in the League of Ireland.'
Wanderers season tickets can be obtained for recession-busting prices.
An adult season ticket will set you back a meagre €99, while children and O.A.P. season tickets will cost you just €49.
A special family season ticket, which accommodates for two adults and two children, amounts to €249.
Those season tickets can be used tonight (Wednesday, February 27), when Pat Devlin's side take on Waterford United on the Carlisle Grounds in their penultimate pre-season friendly ahead of the start of the real deal.
The Seagulls travel to Longford for a dual with Longford Town on Saturday, March 2, before kicking off their Premier Division campaign on Friday, March 8, with the visit of Shelbourne to the Seaside.
