Complaints to be lodged about game

Shamrock Celtic and Fassaroe YC were both left scratching their heads after their clash on Sunday.
With the scores deadlocked at three goals apiece, referee Willie Whelan is alleged to have blown his final whistle significantly prematurely, denying either side the chance to bag a winner. Both sides have said that they will make complaints about the official's performance to the WDFL.
Fassaroe twice trailed at Celtic Park but they showed good character to comeback on both occasions and earn a point against the current leaders of the fourth tier in Co. Wicklow. Steven McGraine (2) and John Greaney were the away side's goalscorers, with Robert Gillespie (2) and Sean Knowd the men who found a way past the Fassaroe goalkeeper. Although that point means Celtic is now the outright leaders in the division, it does mean Fairwood Celtic would open up a two point lead should they win their game in hand.
The full 90 minutes were played at the Back Alley where it took a Glen Joyce effort to prise Carnew Celtic and St. Fergal's AFC B apart. The striker's effort handed the Bray club a 0-1 win. Greystones United hosted MK Dons in the final Division 3 fixture of the weekend and that battle by the seaside saw the visitors cruise to a 0-4 victory.
