AGB's 'Mini All-Ireland' event was held in Pearse Part last week on June 17, 19 and the final day on the 21st.

The event went really well with total number of 114 6-12-year-old boys attending. There was 47 U-6/7s, 35 U-8/9s, and 32 U-10s/12s.

The mini All-Ireland was one of biggest events organised by AGB this year.

All groups' matches kicked off 6.30pm each evening running parallel on three pitches.

Players taking part represented great skills and fantastic team spirit, for some it was first event of that kind and they all really enjoyed it.

Huge thanks to everyone who took part. It was a mighty effort from everyone.

There was a great effort from the U-16s who provided the refereeing and the parents, who did the first aid, laid out the pitches, set up the barbeque and tables and managed the teams.

Thanks also to all those who provided their help throughout the week, to make an environment for the young players a family friendly club environment.

Well done to county players who went around to all the players and gave a word of encouragement and Tommy Annesley who presented medals to all players.

The kids fed off the presence of their parents and family, coaches and the large crowds in attendance, all making the young lads the real stars of the show.

The barbeque was top class as were all the efforts by all the parents in providing the food cakes and buns and helping out
