Moore sees off Ryan to make it three on the trot
ARKLOW'S LIAM Moore scored his third successive win when he beat John Ryan of St Michael's in New Ross in the Wexford open league on Sunday last.
Liam was in control from the start using his jab well and gave the Wexford boxer a standing count from 2 solid rights in the first round, in the third round Liam hurted Ryan with a solid right hook to the body which should have ended the bout but the Wexford boy held on.
Aaron Lyons after a slow start totally dominated the second and third rounds but didn't get the decision. Aaron had a really good third round when he kept Furlong under pressure with solid shots to head and body and had the Wexford boxer in trouble towards the end. A majority was given to the Wexford boxer.
