HOLLYWOOD rounded off their year with a hard earned win over Kilbride in the Hennessy cup at Hollywood on Sunday morning.

For the Glen men, 2013 was a great year with this Junior team beating all round them, winning the West section of Division 4 of the Senior football league, and then going on to add the county title as well.

Then they put the Icing on the cake by coming back to win the special section of the West League - not bad going.

That win on Sunday morning moved Hollywood up to share the top of the table with neighbours Valleymount. While the result is a set back to Kilbride, who badly need to put some more points on the board, they still remain in contention.

That match ends the action for this year and, while it is nice to top the group of this competition, it still does not guarantee a place in the finals.

The West Winter leagues now take their Christmas break and will resume on January 25 next year.

Hollywood had good performances from Philip Dunne and Tomas Kelly, while Finn Craul and Andy O Brien were best for Kilbride.
