Recruits pass out as trained Gardaí

Eight new Garda recruits who hail from Co Wicklow celebrated the end of their training at the recent Garda passing out ceremony in the Garda College Templemore.

Four of the recruits Aaron Bradshaw from Kilcoole, Jamie Lillis, Tinahely, Niall Byrne, Greystones and Shane McGuire, Blessington will be stationed in Dun Laoghaire in the DMR East Division. Katie Mundow from Ballinaclash will be stationed in Wexford and Colin Miley, Blessington will be stationed in Store Street in Dublin.

The final two graduates are Aidan Keogh from Kiltegan and Fergus Holly from Wicklow who will both be stationed in Blackrock, also in the DMR East Division.

A total of 152 probationary Gardaí passed at the ceremony which was attended by The Garda Commissioner Nóirín O'Sullivan and the Tánaiste/Minister for Justice and Equality Francis Fitzgerald T.D. None of the new Gardaí are set to be stationed in Co Wicklow.
