Much-loved Mark was a huge Ozzy Osbourne fan

IT WAS with deep sadness that the people of Arklow and Avoca learned of the sudden and unexpected death of Mark ' Ozzy' Kennedy from St. Michael's Terrace, Arklow.

Mark was born in Avoca in May 1972 and was just 40 years old when he passed away.

He was the much-loved son of Sarah and the late Jack Kennedy and beloved brother of Jacqueline and David.

Mark attended primary school in Avoca and later attended the Vocational school in Arklow.

He trained as a hairdresser for a time until 1989 when he was involved in a serious motorbike accident which left him badly injured.

Mark's big love was Ozzy Osbourne. He was a big fan and attended some Ozzy concerts in Dublin.

On one occasion he even met his idol and had photographs taken with him.

Mark's other big love in life were computers and music which consumed a large amount of his time.

He had many friends, some as far away as America, Canada and England and they along with his many friends in Dublin, and at home in Arklow, were saddened by his death.

Mark was much loved and respected wherever he went.

He will be sadly missed by his mother Sarah, sister Jacqueline, brother David, Stepfather Matt, brother-in-law Ray, nieces Amy, Sophie and Hannah, nephew Kyle, his aunts, uncle and cousins and his wide circle of friends.

May he Rest in Peace.
