Each Wednesday the students ran a bank at break time in the canteen. Titled ' The Jungle Bank', the students came up with the slogan 'I'm a Celebrity, Get me a Bank Account.'

They even went as far as baking cakes to entice students to open up accounts. Maybe other longer established banks should take note.

Manager Katie Byrne, Assistant Bank Manager Shauna Lawless, Auditor Leanne Kiely, Sales and Marketing Head Imogen English, Tellers Eoin Kelly and Deirbhle Byrne and Assistant Tellers Anna Kelly created their own individual advertising posters which were displayed around the school.

Last Thursday they travelled to Leopardstown Racecourse along with their teacher Ms. O'connell to take part in the AIB Regional finals where they managed to beat off some stiff competition to win the award for 'Best Newcomer.' Each student won a €100 One 4 All gift voucher along with a voucher for the school.

At the regional finals they also rubbed shoulders with GAA royalty in the form of legendary Kerry footballer Colm ' The Gooch' Cooper.
