Éirigí holds child benefit protest

SOCIALIST REPUBLICAN Party Éirígí held a 'Hands off Child Benefit' protest at the constituency office of Deputy Anne Ferris in Bray last Saturday.

Speaking on this Éirígí activist Adrian O'Raghallaigh, who took part in the protest said, the Government threats 'of more pain to come, more tax hikes, more cuts to public services and more cuts to welfare for all the Irish people in the upcoming December Budget, have really started a panic right through the communities now. éirígí members are active right across County Wicklow in support of the working and unemployed people and activists have been highlighting the call for people to stand up and fight-back.

Adrian added Éirígí will be holding numerous anti-austerity budget protests and urged people to show their support.
