This is a wonderful outcome that had outstanding support from the whole Aughrim Community and beyond. The level of support is deeply appreciated by Fr. Owen and Aid Partnership Africa and he is especially grateful to Fr. Edward Barry, the Parish Council and to everyone who helped with tickets and with the preparation of the Church on the night.

Sincere appreciation goes to Denise Brennan, Chris Currid, Eithne Corrigan, Ann Devlin Comhaltas, Miriam, Bernadette and Brid Lambert Harpists and Jim Furlong for generously providing a magnificent evening of music and song which was enjoyed by a capacity filled church.

The funds raised will be used to protect orphaned children and to promote their rights and education on the projects funded by Fr. Owen in Ethiopia and where there are over four million children who have lost one or both parents.
