Chainsaw horror at star's mansion
INJURED MAN FLOWN TO HOSPITAL
A MAN was airlifted to hospital last week after cutting himself with a chainsaw at Chris de Burgh's Enniskerry mansion.
Tree surgeon Ritchie O'Toole from Wicklow was working at Bushey Park House for Kilmacanogue company Djouce Tree Care Services when the accident happened.
The incident occurred at around 10 a.m. and paramedics and fire fighters were called to the scene, as well as a rescue helicopter.
The cut was to Mr. O'Toole's left leg and was around an inch deep, five inches in length and an inch wide. It was close to the femoral artery and caused significant blood loss.
Fire fighters moved the injured man from the rear of the property to the front lawn and paramedics treated him at the scene.
Ritchie was brought by helicopter to Tallaght hospital for treatment.
