THERE ARE a number of events taking place across Wicklow during the seventh national Bank of Ireland's National Enterprise Week.
This popular bi-annual event, which has become a feature in local business diaries across Ireland, runs from Friday November 16 until Friday November 23. The key focus of this week will be on getting access to credit and 'Junior Dragon's Den', a new concept aimed at young entrepreneurs, an extension of the Bank's existing sponsorship with RTE's Dragon's Den.
According to, Marie Canning, Commercial Branch Manager, Bank of Ireland, Wicklow 'the free events during National Enterprise Week cater for all sizes of businesses and all sectors. We invite new and existing customers to stop by their branch to get information on how to be part of it. This week is just another example of how we support the SME sector through actions rather than words. We earn the trust of thousands of SMEs every day and are working with them to help their businesses move forward', concluded Marie Canning.
During the week a number of local businesses will be showcased in the Wicklow branch including Frontline Models, Marian Lucaci Car Valeting, Hey Presto Parties, Herbalist, Karen Baker Arts and Crafts, Joanna Sloan Old Rectory Print, Cakes by Jonathon while Colette Ward, Interior Design & Decoration Ltd will be on display.
On November 27 an agricultural event will take place in Quinn's Mart at 7.30pm. Guest speaker is Sean Farrell, Head of Agri, Bank of Ireland.
