RESIDENTS of Blainroe Nursing Home pulled out all the stops to ensure their Christmas Craft Fair was full of stock for sale.

The residents spent the past number of months knitting some scarves for the fair, which was in aid of the Peter McVerry Homeless Trust.

Last Tuesday the nursing home was full of activity as visitors browsed the fair in the hope of finding the perfect scarf, Christmas decoration or Christmas pudding. All the money raised will be donated to the Peter McVerry Trust.

Blainroe Lodge opened in February 2005 and offers Long Term, Convalescent, Respite and Dementia/Alzheimer care to persons from the Wicklow, South Dublin and North Wexford areas.
