Adam gets a new look for cancer fundraiser
WICKLOW'S Adam Duffy got his hair dyed last week as part of Today FM's 'Shave or Dye' campaign in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
The dyeing took place in the View Hair Salon in Rathnew, whose staff donated all the tips they had accumulated over the weekend and agreed to dye Adam's hair free of charge. They also convinced him to add a pink streak to his hair, as he had originally planned to go all blue!
A student of the Wicklow Latin Dance School – where Adam helps to teach – also held collections, and in total he has raised €350 for the cause so far.
He was keen to thank the View Hair Salon for their help and generosity on the day and everyone who made a donation.
