School officially opens extension
Hollywood National School officially opened their new extension last Friday, April 4.
The extension – which includes two classrooms, a new principal's office and a resource room – will enable the school to cater for a far greater number of pupils moving forward as it prepares to welcome over 170 students in September. It was officially opened by Bishop Eamon Walsh, who performed a blessing of the extension after a ribbon cutting ceremony. The event was also attended by Principal Seamus O Briain, teachers and students of the school, Deputy Billy Timmins, Cllr Jimmy Ruttle and Hugh Keogh, the builder behind the development.
