COFFEE MORNING

EASTER BREAK

Shrines of Europe, combined pilgrimage will take place for nine days from the 6th April, to 15th April, 2013 which will include Lourdes, Loyola, Santander, Santiago de Compostela & Fatima. Cost of the trip will be €799 per person sharing. Names and €200 deposit as soon as possible to Susan at 0404 45276 after 8pm. BINGO

Fun Bingo will take place on Sunday 9th December in the Parish Centre from 3p, - 5pm. Family members and friends are more than welcome to attend. €5 per book and great raffle prizes. Come along and enjoy

LUNCH CLUB

A reminder that the Active Retirement Lunch club will take place on Friday 7th December in The Roundwood Inn at 1.30pm. Please contact May 0404 45178 or Mollie 0404 45407 by Wednesday 5th December if you wish to attend.

BALTIC CRUISE

There will be a Baltic Cruise from the 9th - 22nd July, 2013, Fjords of Norway and Port of Russia. More details later. Contact 0404 45276 for more information.

DANCE DATES

Dance dates for 2012 in Roundwood Parish Hall: 21st December - Wicklow Man. This dance will be in aid of the Roundwood Active Retirement.

TOURS

There will be a five day tour of the Cotswold, Oxford and Bath on the 10th June 2013, visiting The Cotswolds, Burton-on-the-water, the Roman Baths in Bath, Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and Botanic Gardens. Cost of the trip is €300. In July/August we will be going to the Fjords of Norway. More details later. WHIST RESULTS

The results of the whist in aid of the Senior Citizens is as follows:- Top Score: Molly Byrne; Top Gent: Tom McHugh; Second Gent; Martin Byrne; Top Lady: Patricia Byrne; Second Lady: Nan Wolohan & Mary Joe O'Malley (shared); First Half: Kay Plunkett; Second Half: Mary Pierce; Longest Sitting: Fr. Paul Kelly & Lowest Score: Mary Cullen.

Raffle prizes were won by Patricia Byrne, Jimmy Molloy, Maura McHugh, Mary Pierce & Margaret Kennedy. Next whist is Wednesday 5th December, 2012 and then on the 19th December, the last one before Christmas, in the Parish Centre. All are welcome.

ATHLETICS

Well done to Jack Savage and Jonathan Phillips who represented us well at the AllIrelands in a very muddy Tattersalls, Co Meath. Good luck again to Jonathan in the Novice on 9th December in Adamstown.

A.G.M.

The AGM of the Ladies/Girls Section of An Tóchar GAA Club will take place on Friday December 14th at 8 pm. upstairs in the GAA Complex. Any Lady aged 18 and over interested in playing ladies football for An Tóchar, and the parents/guardians of players under 18 are asked to attend, as well as all Managers and Mentors. It is very important that we have full attendance to plan for the 2013 season

Results for competition held on Monday 26th November 1st for North/South Nancy O'Brien and Gertie Fee, 2nd Catherine Mcgillycuddy and Brid Clancy, 3rd Margaret Byrne and Triona Woodroofe and 4th Pamela Byrne and Clare Sally whilst Mollie Byrne and Rachel Judd were 1st for East/West, 2nd Rowena Brady and Margaret Bolger, 3rd Marion Davis and Teresa Leahy and 4th Mary Pierce and Kay Plunkett. Members please note Christmas Prize Giving will be held on Monday 17th December.

002 BRIDGE CLUB

Playing their cards right on Friday 30th November were Fr Kelly and Ger Lenihan 2nd Catherine Mcgillycuddy and Monica Brady, joint 3rd/4th Jim McNamara and Maria Magee and Nancy and Paddy O'Brien and 5th place went to lMarion Davis and Elizabeth Belton.

All members please note Christmas Prize Giving will be held on Friday 14th December.

LOTTO RESULTS

There was no jackpot winner in last weeks lotto, the numbers were. 4, 5, 9 & 21 There were eleven match three winners, Rachel Lennon, Annie Doona, Peter Byrne, Grainne Byrne, Deirdre Kane, Christy O'Reilly, Joe, Sam Wheatley, Nell Kenna, Maura Curley & Gerry Kavanagh. It's time to oil those bikes and clean up those runners for our biathlon which takes place on 27th December.
