Adrian Dunne's Pharmacy in Arklow held a charity day in aid of Arklow RNLI on Thursday, August 22.
A cake sale was held in store, while pharmacy staff offered such services as hand massages, facials and nail painting. There was also a hula-hoop competition and various other fun and games.
The Arklow RNLI set up a stall in the pharmacy to sell their branded merchandise for the cause. The stall was manned by Tommy Nolan and Mark Canavan of the Arklow RNLI Fundraising Committee and raised 200. Adrian Dunne's, meanwhile, managed to raise just over €600 for the local lifeboat, which was presented to the RNLI on Friday, August 30.
Adrian Dunne's would like to thank everyone for supporting the event including all the local businesses who supplied cakes for the sale.
