Huge interest in 'Operation'

THERE HAS been phenomenal interest in Operation Transformation Wicklow Town which kicked off last Monday night.

Being led by Brid Keogh who was narrowly pipped at the post to become one of the five national leaders, Operation Transformation Wicklow looks set to be a great success.

One of the organisers, Mick Nolan, said, 'We have a great team of experts and fitness enthusiasts lined up to help us along the way. Included in this motley crew is Mari Humby, Stella Farrell, Bernie Gillespie and Carina Traynor. We have Sean Dunne who never stops running, swimming or cycling and we have the professional support of Catherine and Avril of East Coast Physio.

' The group will now meet on Saturday mornings at The Murrough where we will break into groups, some of us will walk, some walk/jog, some might even take part in ' boot camp', said Mick.

'We will also meet every Monday night at 7 pm in The Grand Hotel.

' This is an important one as we will have a weekly 'weigh in' and the group's weight will be submitted to RTE that night.
