Titled 'A Year of Birds in Wicklow' it was presented by Eric Dempsey and his photographic journey through the changing seasons of the year for birds in Wicklow was most informative and entertaining. Eric showed stunning images that captured the wonder of Wicklow's native and migratory birds, their migrations and movements, their breeding, and their struggle to survive the harsh winters. Eric Dempsey is a full-time writer, broadcaster, speaker and wildlife photographer, and a long-time member of the RTE ' Mooney Goes Wild' team. He is the author of several books on Irish birdlife, including ' The Complete Field Guide to Ireland's Birds', and the members were delighted to have such an honoured guest.
