Fashion Show at the Glenview in aid of the Tiglin No Bucks Café: Mark walks the catwalk for Fishers menswear with his 8 week old son Andrew

A fashion show organised by Tiglin raised over €8,000 in the Glenview Hotel, Delgany last Thursday night. All monies raised will go to Tiglin's 'No Bucks Bus'. MC for the night was RTE Sports Presenter and Celebrity Masterchef contestant Tracy Piggott.

'On behalf of Tiglin, we'd like to thank everyone who was involved in the fashion show. It has been a huge success. It was great to see so many people there on the night and everyone has been so generous, especially coming up to Christmas which can be a tough time for people,' said Phil Thompson, CEO of Tiglin Rehab Centre.

The bus provides those living on the streets with tea, coffee, sandwiches and pastries and is also a place for the homeless to come and chat to the volunteers to find out more about Tiglin's services. The bus goes onto the streets of Dublin City, Bray, Dun Laoghaire and Ballymun on weekday nights.

Tiglin extended thanks to all of those involved in the fashion show - MC Tracy Piggott, The Glenview Hotel, Curves, all of the shops who provided the clothes and accessories on the night, local business and artists who provided items for the auction and Beating Time and David Burke who provided the music.

This Christmas, you can donate to Tiglin by texting 'TIGLIN' to 50300 (texts cost €2 and 100 per cent of your donation will go to Tiglin) or by logging on to www.tiglin.ie.
