Festive fun at the Courthouse Art Centre

DECEMBER sees a number of exciting festive events taking place at the Courthouse Arts Centre.

A Life Drawing exhibition runs from December 1-7 featuring works by the Life Drawing Group that meets regularly in the centre.

Members Helen Brennan, Tony Clear, Clay D'Arcy, Roisin Flood, Jane Glynn, Pat Neavyn, Senan O'Brien and Niall O'Neill will exhibit. Admission is free and all are welcome. On Sunday, December 9 the seventh annual Christmas Spirit Fair takes place at the centre from 11a.m.-5p.m.

The Courthouse will be decorated with beautiful seasonal greenery and the spirit of Christmas will be abundant.

A great line-up of handmade and Irish crafts will be showcased..

As in previous years Tina and Barbara will have a lovely café area where you can catch up with friends and family.

The proceeds of their cakes sale is going to the Saint Vincent De Paul charity while Margarete and Irene run a raffle with very generous prizes in aid of the Senior Citizen Christmas Dinner.

Admission to the fair is also free. A great day is not to be missed.
