SYMPATHY -- Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Madge Brennan, (nee Lennon) Brideswell who died during the week, her remains were removed to Askamore on Friday evening and burial took place on Saturday following 11 am mass.
A Benefit night will be held on this Saturday 15th December in The Little Moon Coolboy with music by Jourum from 9 pm till late, admission ¤5 with door prize, raffle and auction on the night.
Congratulations to Clare Kenny, Ballyconran and Bryan Tiernan, Dublin who were married on Friday in Askamore.
A public meeting will be held in Askamore Community Centre on this Thursday 13th December at pm concerning the numerous crashes on the CarnewGorey Road between Ballyellis Cross Road and Craanford. The local Engineer, Garda and Councillors have been invited. It is hoped that a representive frm all local houese and people constantly travelling this route will attend.

Baubles are still on sale for the Forget Me Not Christmas Tree in Askamore Church when mass will be celebrated on 23rd December, baubles are ¤3 each or two for ¤5 they are available in most local shops or from the playschool.

A concert will take place in St Mary's Churhc Coolfancy on this Thursday 13th December at 8pm with music by Des Willoughby Coolfacny National School Choir and guests, tickets are ¤20 and are available from the school, Coolboy Post Office or 0871939870, seating is limited so book your ticket if you are thinking of going.
A concert will be held in All Saints Church Carnew on Thursday 20th December at 7.30 pm with Colaiste Bhride choir and solists. A special evening of carols for christmas for all to enjoy. Carnew Scouts Group are holding a christmas teenage disco on this Friday 14th December from 8 pm - 11pm ages 13 - 17 years in St bridgets Hall Carnew admission ¤8 with mineral bar and shop.
Carnew Traders and Friends are holding a bingo on this Sunday 16th December at 3pm in St Bridgets Hall, Carnew with loads of prizes, all welcome to come along.

Tomacork Council would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone for their support at the annual Tomacork Cabaret last Friday night, to all who sold and bought tickets, the music and everyone for their help, it was very much appreciated, a great night was had by all.
