A BUTTERFLY walk for kids will take place at the Native Woodland Trust nature reserve in Blessington this Saturday, August 16.
At the event, kids will lean more about the various butterfly species found in Ireland. Participants will take a walk around the Blessington Reserve to see what butterflies they can find. The children will learn a bit about butterflies while getting outdoors for a fun and active afternoon of searching for butterflies.
The meeting point is 12 noon at the ESB car park, off the N81 just south of the reserve. The walk runs from 12 noon until 2 p.m. and all are welcome.
The event is free for members with a suggested donation of €4 for non-members. The walk is also weather dependent.
