William O'Reilly of Wicklow town was among a group of young people from across the country attending a Think Big workshop in O2 headquarters in Dublin.
Think Big is a programme designed by O2 and Headstrong, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, designed to inspire young people around the country to promote positive mental health in their local community.
Everyone in attendance at the workshop were awarded a place on the national Think Big programme after successfully submitting an idea for a project in their community.
William's project entitled 'Practical Positive Psychology Solution', will contribute to tackling Ireland's devastating mental health problem by initiating a positive psychology poster campaign, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that every classroom and lecture room door in the country should have one highly practical, to the point and highly accessible positive psychology poster on it.
