NEXT Wednesday members of the Wicklow Hospice Marathon 100 Team will be putting their best foot forward.
With the runners under pressure in the lead up to the marathon struggling to make distances and finding the time to train it's hard to remember that the effort will all be rewarded on October 28.
Next Wednesday at 8pm in the Glendalough Hotel Jim Aughney, Race Director of the Dublin City Marathon, will make a presentation to all members of the team and a spokesperson said: 'We are privileged to have Jim come down to us.
'Jim will outline all the practical aspects of participating in the marathon, from collecting your number to collecting your finisher's medallion. He will explain everything you need to know about the course, from baggage drop-off and collection points, the wave starts, water stations, the pacers, timing and the course.'
