In Coláiste Chill Mhantáin, among many other schools across the country, there was an array of activities for the occasion.

This included daily maths puzzles, maths trails and a time line constructed by Fourth Year students and showing all mathematical advances and achievements from 30,000 BC to the present day.

The school was decorated in maths related posters made by students. Coláiste Chill Mhantáin also took part in an online maths competition hosted by mangahigh.com where they battled it out against other secondary schools. The Wicklow students were successful in reaching 16th place out of over 130,000 participants from over 500 schools.

The whole week's events were coordinated by the school's maths team.

The week contained many brain teasers and it certainly generated great excitement and interest in the subject both for the students and the teachers.
