The CR-V is the latest model to benefit from Honda's 'Earth Dreams Technology' series of advanced engines with the new 1.6 i-DTEC. The lightest engine of its type in the world, it offers class-leading emissions of 119g/km for annual road tax from just €200.

Fuel economy also benefits greatly from the 'Earth Dreams Technology' with Honda's Idle Stop and Eco Assist systems working alongside the new 1.6 i-DTEC engine to produce class-leading fuel economy figures, consuming 4.5 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometres driven, the equivalent of 62.8mpg. This efficiency means a range in excess of 1,280 kilometres from a full tank of diesel, meaning a welcome reduction in trips to the filling station. The class-leading features of the 1.6 i-DTEC engine come in addition to the existing strengths of the Honda CR-V. A full-size family SUV, it offers ample room inside with up to 1,669 litres of luggage capacity available. Standard equipment on all models includes Dual-zone climate control, 17" Alloy wheels, Cruise control, One-motion folding rear seats, Idle Stop, Remote audio controls, Electric front and rear windows, Alarm, USB Connectivity and Daytime running lights. The CR-V ES grade is priced from €33,995 and offers additional equipment such as Reversing camera, Front & rear parking sensors, Bluetooth HFT, Front fog lights, Auto lights & wipers, Leather steering wheel and Electrically folding mirrors. The CR-V ES Sport grade tops the range from €37,495, and is luxuriously equipped with the addition of Alcantara & leather seats, Bi-HID headlights, 18"Aalloy wheels, Roof rails, Privacy glass, Heated front seats, Premium audio system with subwoofer, Active cornering lights, HSS High-beam support system and DAB Radio.

Adrian Cole, Managing Director of Universal Honda Ltd. said, 'The New CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC is a unique vehicle, offering a bigger car experience matched to smaller car economy, indeed the fuel consumption figures beat those of the average supermini on Irish roads. We feel that with pricing from €31,995 the CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC will really appeal to the many existing and previous CR-V owners out there, as well as drivers of other large SUV's such as the Hyundai Santa Fe and Ford Kuga.' The onda CR-V is available to test drive at Approved Honda Dealerships nationwide, and is available with the Honda Now Finance plan, meaning you can drive away a new CR-V from just €369 per month.
