National Pyjama Day a great success among Little Flowers

Who wouldn't love to head out the door in the morning in their pyjamas and last Friday children across Wicklow got the chance to do just that for National Pyjama Day.
The fundraiser was held in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation Homecare for Children programme and was organised by Early Childhood Ireland.
The children of Frances' Little Flowers were just some of the children taking part in the initiative and owner Frances Burke said the day had been a huge success.
'I have six children here and they all really enjoyed it. The children were really excited and many of them brought in their blankies and teddies. We had story time on blankets on the floor too and I was in my pyjamas too which gave them a big giggle.
'I tried to keep the day's activities in the sleeping theme too so they coloured in Bananas in Pyjamas pictures and we read Sleeping Beauty. We had balloons up too which they were delighted with and then we planted sunflower seeds and there's a little flower pot now with each of their names on them. When the seeds start to mature the children can take them home and replant them.'
