KILMANTIN ARTS held an auction in the courtyard of the Bridge Tavern last Saturday to raise funds both for the centre and for Wicklow RNLI.
The auction was preceded by entertainment for adults and kids including face painting and a display of origami by Michaela Bersche.
In total, 30 lots were sold at the auction from photographs and oil paintings to acrylics and pen and ink sketches, all produced by local artists. There was also a raffle of prizes donated by local businesses, including a work donated by artists Kathleen Brennan, a selection of wines from the Wicklow Wine Company, a hamper of art materials from john Hopkins & Sons and a meal for two at the Grand Hotel as well as tickets to see the play 'Feck Off Crows.'
Kilmantin Arts would like to thank all the local businesses for their generosity as well as the Wicklow RNLI for their support and association as well as the Bridge Tavern for hosting the event for free.
