Third Liam Kelly Memorial Run this weekend

All roads will lead to The Summerhill House Hotel, Enniskerry, this Saturday, September 9, when The Garden of Ireland Vintage Car Club will host its 9th Garden of Ireland run and the 3rd Liam Kelly Memorial Run.

The weekend of festivities will commence with a welcome reception at The Grove Bar, Delgany at 9.30 p.m. on Friday night, with music by Cuillin.

On Saturday morning, September 9, the run will start from The Summerhill House Hotel, Enniskerry at 10.30 a.m. Registration will commence at 9.30 a.m.

Club officials are eagerly awaiting the arrival of friends, old and new, from various clubs across the country. They will also welcome clubs from further afield, including from Lake Konstanz and Stuttgart in Germany, The Karmann Ghia Club in the UK and The AOVC Northern Ireland.

After the run, an evening meal will be served at 8 p.m. sharp followed by music and craic with music by 'Skin The Goat'.

On Sunday morning the poker run, will start from the Summerhill House Hotel at 11 a.m. and return to The Grove Bar for the prize-giving.

Cars registered on Saturday will be free of charge but there will be a fee of €10 for those registering on Sunday morning.
