BAT Kinane and The Whole Hog Band launched their latest album of original material with a concert in the Tramway Theatre, Blessington.
In May of last year the band released a charity single for the Hillbilly Tractor Run and soon set about recording a new album featuring a number of guests from Ireland's bluegrass and country scene. Paul Kelly contributed fiddle and mandolin to the album. He formerly played with Sharon Shannon and is now a member of Eleanor Shanley and The Dublin Folk.
Paul was present for the album launch at the Tramway and got on stage to join Bat Kinane and The Whole Hog Band.
The concert also acted as a rehearsal of sorts for the band before they perform at the Leinster Entertainment AWards taking place in Killashee on Monday.
