The anti-racism charity, Show Racism the Red Card, has launched its creative competition for 2014, and is encouraging schools and youth groups to apply.

In previous years, groups of young people from Arklow Community College, Arklow, Avondale Community College, Rathdrum and St. Gerard's Junior School, Bray, participated in the competition.

The creative competition is calling on young people from Wicklow to develop creative messages about racism and integration, using written, visual and audiovisual means.

The closing date for applications is March 28. Further information about Show Racism the Red Card is available at www.theredcard.ie.
