The Aoife Daly Cup event will take place in Park Lane this Tuesday, May 7, kicking off at 9.30 a.m.

Transition year students in Loreto secondary school and St. Peter's College will take part.

Aoife (16) was a TY student in Loreto who played camogie, hockey and rugby.

She died suddenly at Wexford General Hospital from a suspected virus on December 24 last.

Her death shocked and saddened her family, friends, school pals and her sporting colleagues in St. Martin's Club, Wexford Hockey Club and Wexford Wanderers.

A big turn-out is expected for the tag rugby blitz which will feature 20 mixed teams.

Everyone is welcome to go along to enjoy a day of activities including music, group games, a barbecue and presentation of prizes.

Admission is €2 per person and all donations will go to the 'Make a Wish' children's charity.
