Lee arrived to officially open the school's new astroturf pitch and walking track on its annual 'sport for all' day.

The guest of honour posed for photographs with a giant cardboard scissors presented to him by the pupils before he formally cut the ribbon.

The all-weather pitch and walking track allow children to play sport outdoors even when it's raining.

The new walking track around the perimeter is also a much-used facility.

The entire population of the school took part in the sports day which included egg and spoon, three-legged, sack and relay races.

Sixth class pupils ran a relay race against the teacher. Who won?. You've guessed it - the children.
