Wexford Campus School of Art graduates host art exhibition

Graduates from the Wexford Campus School of Art and Design have put their diverse talents on show in an exciting exhibition at Wexford Arts Centre.
The exhibition entitled 13° was officially opened last Thursday by Kenneth Hay, Chair of Contemporary Art Practice in the University of Leeds.
It will continue in Wexford until Saturday, June 7 before transferring to the Void Arts Centre in Derry from Saturday, June 21 to Friday, July 11.
The show features the work of this year's BA Honours Fine Art graduates from Carlow IT - Thomas Anderson, Ciaran Byrne, Michael Carty, Maura Condren, Jenny Foley, Indrija Janeliunaite, Sean Kehoe, Caroline Martin, Sinead Meehan, Laurence O' Toole, Pavlina Kubelkova, Nancy Rochford-Flynn and Michael White.
Having spent the past four years discovering their creative paths, they are now on the threshold of professional careers.
The exhibition of installations, digital media, paintings and drawings is a celebration of their accomplishments.
Among the wide-ranging themes explored are empty buildings, exclusion and oppression, motherhood, separation from family, modern communications and what future generations will make of he ruins we leave behind.
