Horrors of Gaza seen by Fr Billy

A Wexford priest is urging people to show solidarity with the innocent victims of the war between Hamas and Israel after seeing at first hand the injuries suffered by Palestinian victims of the conflict in Gaza.
Fr Billy Swan, who is from Glynn and who is based at St Aidan's Cathedral in Enniscorthy, said what he had seen at St Joseph's Hospital in Jerusalem on Sunday made him angry 'because of man's inhumanity to man, and angry because the international community does not seem capable of preventing the bloodshed'.
'Yet I also felt proud to be a Catholic Christian and united to those who are helping these people who are suffering so much at this time,' he said in a posting on Facebook.
