Wexford's Circuit Court ground to a halt yesterday, due to an electricity outage caused by two separate incidents in the Hill Street area of town.
A spokesman from the the Electricity Supply Board said two faults occurred at the same time in the Hill Street area and the power was out from 11.30 a.m. to 12.50 p.m.
'Then first incident was a guy tipping his truck and he clashed with some of the conductor wires and blew a fuse,' he said.
'The second incident involved a third party whose digging caused damage to underground cables,' he added.
'We are still investigating this matter but the supply was restored in the town after approximately an hour and a half,' he added.
