Directions have not yet been received from the DPP as to how the case of alleged drug dealer Edward McCormack should be dealt with. The 59-year-old from 20 Bishopswater in Wexford stood accused of having the drug outside The Anvil pub in Ballymurn on November 15.
Solicitor Ed King expressed some surprise at the delay in obtaining a decision on the matter from the DPP. He pointed out that the value of the cannabis was alleged to be worth eill in excess of €13,000. The case was adjourned once more, this time to June 4.
