Datapac wins Sophos prize

Enniscorthy computer support firm Datapac has been declared 'Sophos Irish Partner of the Year' for the second year in a row. Sophos is one of the world's leading security and data protection solutions providers with over 100 million customers in 150 countries.

The prize came to Quarrypark after Datapac secured more than 100 new customer deals with Sophos over the past year, dramatically increasing sales revenue.

The new customers added include SmartPly, C&D Providers, Kefron and Druid's Glen, all of whom are using Sophos IT security solutions which have been designed, installed and supported by Datapac.

This year's Sophos partner awards ceremony was held at the Hilton London Metropole. Karen O'Connor, general manager service delivery with Datapac, said: 'It's a great achievement for our team to win this award two years in a row. Together with Sophos, we take a very proactive approach to threat management, working closely with our customers to ensure they have the IT security products, policies and support appropriate to each of their businesses.'

Her company has offices in Dublin and Belfast as well as Enniscorthy.
