Chamber presents cheque for €3,560 to the RNLI

Wexford Chamber recently presented a cheque for €3,560 to Rosslare Harbour Lifeboat Coxswain Eamonn O'Rourke, the proceeds of a raffle held alongside the recent business awards banquet.
The Rosslare Harbour all weather Severn Class Lifeboat serves the Wexford Coastline from Cahore Point to Carnsore Point and 100 miles out to sea. The Wexford Business Awards in Whites of Wexford was attended by over 470 people all of whom contributed to a raffle in aid of the RNLI.
Chairperson of the RNLI Rosslare Harbour FundRaising Branch, Leo Coy, said the donation was very much appreciated and 'it will be a great boost to our funds for this year helping to maintain our lifeboat and crew.'
Martin Doyle, President of Wexford Chamber, has been closely associated with the RNLI for many years and was delighted to be in a position to make such a donation to the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.
