40,000 kids get set for pyjama day

Hundreds of pre-school children in County Wexford will be taking part in National Pyjama Day in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation on Friday, March 7.
The fundraising event organised by Early Childhood Ireland will see an estimated 40,000 toddlers in Ireland wearing their pyjamas to playschool for a good cause.
A total of 16 Wexford creches caring for 850 children have signed up for fun day including Tus Maith, Clonroche; Little Treasures, Milehouse Road, Enniscorthy; Little Acorns, Rosbercon, New Ross; Tiger Club Childcare, Wexford Street, New Ross; Tir na nOg, Tagoat; Brí Beag, Bree; Tara Villa Childcare, Barntown; Teach na nOg, Carrig-on-Bannow; A Place to Grow, Raheen FRC, Clonroche; Little Giggles playschool, Killahard, Blackwater; Little Rascals Pre-School, Courtown; Little Crickets, Gorey; Higgies House, Ramsgate Village, Gorey; Stepping Stones Montessori, Killenagh, Gorey and Mulrankin Pre-School/ Montessori, Bridgetown.
It's not too late for other playschools to register, according to the organisers. All money raised will go to the Irish Hospice Foundation's Home Care Programme for Children.
