19-year-old passenger dies after road crash

BUNCLODY IS IN mourning after a tragic road accident claimed the life of a young man on Tuesday, two days after the the car in which he was travelling was involved in a single vehicle collision.
Deceased Larry Connors, aged 19, from Carraig Bán in Bunclody was a back seat passenger in the car that came to grief on the Bunclody to Kiltealy road on Sunday evening.
He was rushed to Wexford General Hospital with serious injuries after emergency services attended the scene in Ballycrystal on the R746 shortly before 6 p.m.
Larry Connors, a son of John and Josephine Connors, passed away in the hospital on Tuesday after doctors were unable to save his life.
The other three occupants of the car, all from the Bunclody area, required treatment and one is reported to have been transferred to hospital in Dublin.
A full examination of the crash scene has been carried out and Gardaí have asked anyone who may have witnessed anything relevant make themselves known to investigators.
They would particularly like to hear from anyone who was travelling on the relevant road between 5.40 p.m. and 5.50 p.m. on Sunday evening.
