Top award for Ciara at graduation in Limerick

THERE WAS great cause for celebration at Mary Immaculate College, (MIC), Limerick this week as 1010 students from 24 counties and three continents were conferred with academic awards across the College's 23 programmes including 18 students who were conferred with PhD awards, the highest number of Doctoral Awards ever conferred at the College.

Included amongst those receiving awards was Ciara Cullen. (Grad. Dip. In Education (Primary Teaching) from Newbawn, who won the college medal as the graduate awarded first place in the Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary Teaching).
