COMMUNITY GAMES

The Community Games Area Swimming finals which will be held in Ferrybank Swimming Pool on Tuesday 25th March at 4.45pm sharp. Entry fee is €3 per child. U8 and U10 - one length, U12, U14 and U16 two lengths of pool.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

The next meeting will be at the Rosslare Hotel on Tuesday 1st April at 3.0pm.

The Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 1st April at 2.00pm. Both meetings in the Hotel Rosslare.

Annual subscriptions for 2014 are now overdue. Please renew your membership at the April Meeting.

Kelly's Hotel now has a new special tariff for A .R.A. Members. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, other than Bank Holidays. From 1pm to 2pm for €5 per hour. Members will have the use of the Hot Tub, Jacuzzi, and Swimming Pool. To avail of this offer, please produce your current Membership Card.

The St Patrick's Day lunch will be held at the Hotel Rosslare on 17th March at 1.00pm for 1.30pm.Tickets are priced at €15 each for members and €18 for non members. KILRANE NS

The Board of Management and Parents Association of Kilrane National School thank everyone who helped out at the recent 'Scrap Saturday'. We are very grateful to all our volunteers and sponsors, also everyone who donated old clothes, scrap metal or made a monetary donation. It was a fantastic success; here's to next year.

ST PAULS A.C.

St. Pauls had four athletes at the recent Leinster Indoors in Athlone. Gergely Pap competed very well claiming 2nd in the U 13 shot with a throw of 9.72m, a great result considering Gergely has just recovered from injury. Chanel O'Leary was a excellent 2nd in the heat of her U13 600m.

Sarah O'Donoghue competed in the U13 Shot with 5.55m. Sarah also competed well in the 600m. Maeve Hayes ran a very good 9:81 in the 60m and also competed well in Long Jump and High Jump.

Well done to all our athletes that competed in the Schools Sporthall Competition in Adamstown on Wednesday 13th. Training continues at the Rosslare Track: Monday and Wednesday at 6.00 with throws training Sat. & Sun. at 10.00 at Kilrane. New members are always welcome.

I.C.A. GUILD

The March meeting was held on Wednesday 5th March. Betty Halligan presided. Sympathy was extended to Cathleen McLean and Betty Halligan on the sad loss of Alec. Also sympathy to Maura O'Connor on the death of her aunt, Phyllis O'Brien who died in Greystones, formerly of Tuskamore Avenue. Minutes were read and correspondence dealt with by Maura.

Moira gave the financial report. Some members are taking part in the One Day Craft School, Enniscorthy on April 5th. A number of members attended Federation Meeting in Ferrycarrig and gave a report. Breda Whelan (Fed) has organised a weekend to An Grianan in June - sightseeing and shopping included.

The Quiz held in Culleton's Kilrane was a great success and the guild are grateful to everyone who supported us. Special thanks to all who gave donations and spot prizes. To Siobhan, Chris and staff for accommodating us, and to Paddy McGuire(Quizmaster). The amount raised will be published at a later date.

DAFFODIL DAY

Daffodil Day is on Friday 28th March. Reminder to everyone who put their names down to help in SuperValu - a timesheet will be available.

COFFEE MORNING/CAKE SALE

A Coffee morning/ Cake Sale will be held in the Harbour View hotel on Tuesday 1st April at 10.30am in aid of the Rosslare Harbour Lifeboat. All are welcome and any cooking will be appreciated.

CAMOGIE CLUB

We would like to remind everyone that time is running out to get registered with the club in order to play in the 2014 season. Membership Registration Fees are due before 22nd March, Adult €55, Child €35 (€60 for two girls) and non-players €10.

The membership fee helps to cover insurance costs, referee fees, training equipment and the clubs costs for the year. Playing Members should be advised that a NO PAY – NO PLAY policy will be implemented by Team Managers and Executive Committee this year.

Indoor Training continues on Saturdays at the clubhouse in Tagoat: Beginners (Under 6's) and U8s – 3.15 pm to 4 pm, U10s – 4 pm to 4.15 pm, U12s & U14s - 4.45 pm to 5.45 pm. Please wear runners and helmets. If your daughter is interested in playing camogie, please feel free to drop up, we would love to see you.

ST. MARY'S DAY CARE

We would like to wish a speedy recovery to all our patrons who are ill at present; we hope you will feel better soon.

A great time has had at our Paddy's Day celebration last Friday. The green pavalova went down a treat with all the party food and gave everyone the energy they needed for dancing the afternoon away!

LADIES NIGHT OUT

The nnual Ladies Night fundraiser for St. Mary's Day Care is on 28th March, so for everyone wondering what to get for your mother, this is an ideal present, and it is only 2 days before Mother's Day. A night of total pampering for yourself or the lady in your life, hair, nails, beauty treatment, massage to name but a few among the treatments that will be on offer, plus you might pick up a gift or two!!

We are currently in the process of filling the last few vacant slots for anyone wishing to display their wares or anyone who would like to offer some of these beauty therapies, or relaxation therapies. We are down to our last couple of slots so we would appreciate it if you could contact us as soon as possible on 053-9132624 to reserve yours.

We would also have a number of Stalls for St Mary's Day Care Centre on the night and any donations (New/Good as new gift sets, clothes or any other items) would be greatly appreciated.

TODDLERS GROUP

The toddler group is back in action in Tagoat Hall every Tuesday from 10 a.m. All Welcome, so come along for an enjoyable morning.
