Roger Messenger, president of TEGoVA and Ronald Duff, president of IPAV, a member body of TEGoVA, presented the certificate to her at a function in IT Tallaght in Dublin this month.

The qualification places her among an elite group of 62 people in Ireland who are qualified to provide the highest pan-European standards of excellence in valuing.

It is recognised as 'Blue Book' best practice by the Central Bank and gives assurance to investors, financial institutions, residential customers and developers.

Banks including AIB and KBC Bank Ireland use REV valuers to complete their property reports.

Sinead, who is already a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers, completed a programme of study in conjunction with the Institute of Technology, Tallaght, Dublin to qualify for the certification from which she can use the recognised REV designation.

She is a well-known athlete and member of Bree AC and a rower and a committee member of Killurin Rowing Club.
