County Council put Arts Ability work on display

THERE has been a recent increase in the amount of paintings on display in the foyer of Wexford County Council Headquarters at Carricklawn.
This is as a result of a specially curated exhibition, encompassing artwork created over the past ten years by participants and artists of the Arts Ability Programme. The Arts Ability Programme celebrates the creative imagination of people who experience mental health issues and/or intellectual, physical or sensory disabilities.
The exhibition will be officially launched by Chairman of Wexford County Council, Mr Ted Howlin, on Tuesday September 10.Among the guests at the exhibition's official launch will be Jeremy Hill, Director of the Norman Gallery in Rathnure, who will also speak.
