Big Fat Fake Stag and Hen paints the town red
THERE was a prequel to the forthcoming Big Fat Fake wedding with a Big Fat Fake Stag and Hen Night at Mackens and in the Bull Ring on Friday night with Patricia Byrne leading a conga around the Pikeman.
Patricia and Larry O'Gorman, representing the Faythe Harriers Hurling & Camogie Club, hit Wexford Town with a bang at Mackens, heralding the real fake wedding on April 20, Easter Sunday.
The craic was mighty as Patricia and Larry O gave a taste of what's to come at White's Hotel with a great comedy show for all.
A rendition of 'The Purple & Gold' was blasted out to roars of delight by Larry O while Patricia gave a lesson in pole dancing before the conga.
The happy couple are all set to tie the knot at The Big Fat Fake Wedding sponsored by O'Brien's Sandwich Bar in Whites of Wexford, produced and directed by Alan Corcoran. Club members will take part as will local celebrities – Catherine (Biddy) Walsh will perform as the Vicar of Dibley and Mayor George Lawlor as the Wedding Singer. A great night of comedy is guaranteed, a show not to be missed.
Tickets are €27 for four course meal, comedy show, band & DJ and lots of spot prizes.
They are on sale at Whites of Wexford, Paula 087 6627353, Lisa 087 9701309, Therese 086 1019000.
This is a major fundraiser to help build the Faythe Harriers Hurling & Camogie Club.
