'Biodiversity garden' plan for eyesores
Neglected open areas of Wexford town could be enrolled in the cause of biodiversity, according to Cllr George Lawlor. He pointed to an overgrown patch of land behind the Carraig Bán estate. He felt that it might be possible to manage the site as a biodiversity garden rather than allowing it become an eyesore. This would attract marks in the tidy towns competition, he indicated.
